3 Dead In Fiery Crash On I-680 In Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Three people were killed Wednesday night when a car crashed into a tree off I-680 in Walnut Creek.

The crash was reported at 10:45 p.m. at the North Main Street off-ramp. Following the crash, the car caught fire.

All three people were pronounced dead at the scene.

The off-ramp was closed for about 3 hours for the CHP investigation.
