WALNUT CREEK, CA — One person was arrested and an AK-47 assault rifle was confiscated in Walnut Creek last Thursday night, according to police.
A vehicle was stopped by a graveyard shift patrol officer after the driver ran a red light.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of multiple gun charges and booked at County Jail.
