WALNUT CREEK, CA — The amazing staff at Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital in Walnut Creek have four adorable chipmunks who are being nursed to health.

The babies were brought to Lindsay "after the rescuer believed they hitched a ride in a car engine! The rescuer had recently been camping in the Sierra foothills," Lindsay said in a social media post.

The chipmunks are about 5 weeks old. "They will be housed with a satellite care volunteer until they get a bit older and then will hopefully return to the wild!"
