Beaver Bed Rest: Lindsay Wildlife's Furry Patient
A little anesthesia goes a long way for this gal! She was found in the middle of the road in Martinez, not exactly beaver habitat.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — One of Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital's latest patients is this little gal, a beaver that may have been hit by a car. She was found in the middle of the road in Martinez.
She was put under anesthesia for a full exam and radiographs. She has a small fracture in her tail and neurological issues of an unknown origin, potentially from a car hitting her.
Lindsay Wildlife is guarded about her prognosis as beavers often they do not survive treatment "but with all cases we are hopeful and will give her the very best care...We are hopeful with cage rest and meds she can recover and will someday soon be returned where she belongs: THE WILD!"
