Cross Country Championships: Las Lomas Girls Finish Second
The Knight girls were runner-up in the North Coast Section Division III race
Las Lomas High's girls cross country team finished second in the North Coast Section Division III championships on Saturday.
The Knight girls tallied a score of 64 while running the 3-mile course at Hayward High School.
Las Lomas' top runner was Chloe Hansel, who finished second with a time of 18:01.
The Las Lomas boys team finished third in their race, putting together a score of 108 for their top five finishers.
The Knights were led by Tom Robey, who finished 13th in a time of 16:02.
In the Division II championships, the Northgate High girls finished fourth with a score of 105.
The Broncos were led by Caitlyn Mundrane, who finished 11th in a time of 19:10.
The Northgate High boys team finished 12th with a score of 321. Their top finisher was Jake Egley, who came in 39th with a time of 16:44.
