Natural Gas Leak Stopped In Walnut Creek
It took PG&E crews three hours to stop the flow of gas.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A natural gas leak in Walnut Creek has been stopped, according to PG&E.
Crews were called to the vicinity of Pleasant Hill Road and Camino Verde around 10 a.m. after a third-party work crew digging in the area struck a gas line.
They excavated and successfully stopped the flow of gas just after 1 p.m. PG&E spokesperson Tamar Sarkissian said service will be affected for six customers during repairs.

Police said earlier Thursday that the affected roadways would closed until further notice. Officers were not immediately available to provide an update on that timeframe.
