Get a Baseball Hall of Famer Autograph and Gourmet Popcorn

Orlando Cepeda will sign baseballs on Sunday for everyone who buys $50 or more of popcorn from Cornology.

Baseball. Popcorn. Those two things just go together.

On Sunday at 2 p.m. at Cornology in Broadway Plaza, baseball Hall of Famer and former San Francisco Giant first baseman Orlando Cepeda will be signing autographed baseballs for everyone who spends $50 or more on popcorn, the proceeds of which will go to his HOPE: Helping Other People Excel program.

Cepeda was a Giant from 1958 to 1966. In 1961, he helped the team get to the World Series, where they were defeated by the New York Yankees in seven games. Cedepa's statue is one of four Giants legends now installed at AT&T Park.

Stop in and get a signed baseball from a Giant legend, and while you're there, pick up some serious gourmet popcorn. This popcorn, being a more refined product than the kind found in movie theaters, is not cheap. From caramel corn to cheddar cheese, and all points in between, Cornology is a strange but wonderful concept for a snack stop.
