How to Watch the Little League Intermediate World Series in East Bay

We have the game schedule, a sneak peek at some of the teams competing and a schedule of events. Danville LL will represent California.

Little League fans from around the world will once again have their eyes focused on Livermore for the annual Little League Intermediate World Series when it returns to Northern California for the third time this August.

The games, scheduled from Aug. 2 to Aug. 8, will be held at Max Baer Park in Livermore. The championship game will be held on Saturday, Aug. 8 will broadcast live on ESPN.

The Intermediate Division began as a two-year pilot program, before becoming an official division in 2012. Players ages 11-13 are eligible to play in this Intermediate baseball league, which features a 50-foot pitching distance and 70-foot bases, also known as “50/70”.

The popular Little League Intermediate World Series is the 9th Little League World Series and first in the baseball-rich state of California.

The daily game schedule can be found on the Little League World Series website.

Schedule of events:

  • Downtown Livermore Parade – Saturday, August 1 at 4:00 p.m. PST
  • Games start 9:00 a.m. on August 2 and run through August 8 at 6 p.m. PST.
  • International and US Championship games are on Friday, August 2 at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.

As many as 11 teams from around the world will play for the World Series at including:

  • United States Pool
  • Central - To Be Determined
  • East - Wellington LL, Wellington FL
  • CA Dist 57 – Danville Little League - Danville, CA
  • Southeast – To Be Determined
  • Southwest - To Be Determined
  • West - To Be Determined

International Pool:

  • Canada - To Be Determined
  • Europe-Africa - South Moravia LL, Brno, Czech Republic
  • Latin America – Elrod Hendricks West LL, St. Thomas Islands, US Virgin
  • Islands
  • Puerto Rico – Humacao, Puerto Rico
  • Asia-Pacific- West Seoul LL - Seoul, South Korea
