I-680 School Bus Crash Cleared: Sig-Alert Canceled
Three lanes of the highway were blocked Friday afternoon.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The California Highway Patrol has canceled a sig-alert on Interstate Highway 680 in Walnut Creek. The crash involved a full-sized yellow school bus. There were no children on board the bus at the time of the crash.
The bus driver suffered minor injuries. The CHP log reports that 4 other vehicles were involved.
Lanes 4-6 were blocked by the crash. They have now been cleared, but traffic is awful.

The crash happened just north of Treat at around 1:45 p.m.
