Ms. Gramlick comes to us with many years of site leadership experience. For the past 2 years, she has served as the K-4 Principal/K8 Director of Student Services in the Ross School District. Prior to that role she was in various other administrative roles. Her elementary school teaching experience along with her extensive leadership background make her a perfect fit for Buena Vista. She received her Bachelor’s degree from University of Southern California in Political Science / American Studies and her Masters degree from Touro University in Educational Leadership and Administration. Her strong leadership skills and elementary school teaching experience make her a perfect fit for Buena Vista Elementary School.
Ms. Gramlick shared her excitement about joining the Buena Vista community, “I am looking forward to this opportunity to work with the Buena Vista Bulldogs’ staff, students, and parents to ensure continued academic and social/emotional growth and achievement.” Ms. Gramlick will assume her position at Buena Vista on July 1, 2020.

I am also pleased to share that Ms. Kari Stewart will fill the position of Summer School Jumpstart Principal. Ms. Stewart is a teacher at Tice Creek and a long time employee of the Walnut Creek School District. She brings experience with both elementary and middle school-aged students. She holds high expectations for all students and values the diversity of all individuals. Ms. Stewart shares “I am excited for students to feel a sense of engagement in their learning with a head start going into a new grade level. With a much-needed focus on a new school year, rather than a lens of remediation, I hope students feel a sense of confidence, along with new skills, that would allow them to experience a positive start to a new school year.”
Both Angela and Kari are valuable assets to our district, and I am confident they will be outstanding in their new roles. Please join me in congratulating both Angela and Kari.
Sincerely,
Kelly Eagan
Assistant Director, Human Resources
