Parking Fees, Fines Resume In Walnut Creek
The City has also installed more free charging stations for electric vehicles.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — With life slowly returning to normal following pandemic restrictions, the City of Walnut Creek is once again enforcing all parking regulations.
In a message to the community, the City said, "With so many restaurants and other businesses providing take out service, the need has returned to turn over parking spaces. That means we are again charging for parking at City meters, including the longer time period purple poles downtown. The City garages continue to be free for the first hour, and at the Broadway Garage, there are now 5 new electric vehicle charging stations."
The EV charging stations are free and are located in all three parking garages.
