Rain Or Shine? Here’s The Memorial Day Forecast For Walnut Creek

YOUR PATCH, ST — Memorial Day marks the unofficial start of summer in Walnut Creek, and this year, many residents will mark the new season with a three-day weekend filled with memorial services, outdoor events and backyard barbecues.

At this point, your weekend is likely planned to a T. But, as most of us know, Mother Nature could always step in and ruin that carefully outlined itinerary with a trifecta of rain, storms and cloudy skies.

So far, Walnut Creek looks as if it will avoid a gloomy meteorological fate, according to the most recent forecast for our area.

As you head home from work Friday evening, expect partly cloudy skies with a low around 48 degrees.

Saturday, Sunday and Monday bring its them mostly sunny skies and warm, springtime temperatures. Over the weekend temperatures will climb as high as 71 degrees on Saturday and 81 on Sunday, AccuWeather products. On Monday, a high of 78 degrees is expected.
