Coming Soon to Walnut Creek: Ice Cream Cookies and Frozen Yogurt

If you're adhering to a diet, please don't read this. 

On Aug. 10, Walnut Creek will be the newest home of C.R.E.A.M., a popular franchise that specializes in ice cream sandwiches. According to Diablo Dish, the shop features 10 different kinds of cookies and 16 different flavors of ice cream. If you care to try one, the owner will be giving out free ice cream sandwiches on opening day. 1372 N. Main St. 

If that's not cool enough for you, the notorious Pinkberry, which features frozen yogurt so good even famous curmudgeon Larry David likes it, will open it's doors the same day, Aug. 10, on the 1100 block of Locust St. With two other fro yo shops one block in either direction, it looks like the fro yo wars are on.
