Walnut Creek App Developer Addresses Nashville Songwriters

Matt Miller demonstrated his free app, audiobridge, which is basically a recording studio on your phone.

NASHVILLE, TN — Matt Miller loves music but was frustrated with the often tedious, expensive, and inefficient process of recording music in a recording studio. That was especially true when needing to work with others or work at convenient times.

So Miller, CEO of the software development company Miller Media based in Walnut Creek, put his technical knowledge to work and developed the app audiobridge, a recording studio on your phone that allows mobile music collaboration on demand. Audiobridge is available for free in the iTunes app store.

Miller spoke at a Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) event on June 28 in Tennessee. The large crowd was eager to learn more about the fusion of technology and the music industry. Miller detailed his background in both music and technology to the crowd, demonstrated how the app works, and even created a short song through the app.

Miller said following his talk that “Music making is changing rapidly and I’m excited to be on the forefront of that evolution. As a songwriter for most of my life, I really enjoyed the opportunity to speak to and chat with the songwriters at NSAI. These are exactly the people that audiobridge was built for. I look forward to working with them more as our project grows.”

Miller said that he hopes audiobridge can make music recording efficient for musicians and songwriters.
