Walnut Creek Children's Author Reads From Her New Work July 30

The author has now published 14 children's books.

Walnut Creek children's book author Deborah Lee Rose will make an author's presentation on Tuesday, July 30, 4 p.m. at the Walnut Creek Library. 

Rose has been writing children's books for 25 years, and is bringing out three new works--Someone's Sleepy (which will be turned into a song by singer Tom Chapin); Jimmy the Joey, a true story about rescuing a baby koala in Australia; and The Spelling Bee Before Recess, a humorous school story about a nail-biting school spelling bee, set to the rhythm of The Night Before Christmas.
