Walnut Creek: Lower Your Holiday Lighting Bill
The City of Walnut Creek encourages you to take a look at LEDs.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Replacing old conventional holiday lights with LED lights is one easy way to achieve energy savings this holiday season.
According to the US Department of Energy, LED strings can reduce energy use by 90 percent and can shine for up to 40 holiday seasons. Using energy-efficient LED lights mean less carbon emissions from power plants because less electricity needs to be produced.
LEDs are also safer to use, sturdier, and more durable.
