Walnut Creek Police Seek Attempted Murder Suspect

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek police are looking for a suspect in an attempted murder early Monday morning, police said.
Someone called police at 5:36 a.m. to report what appeared to be an injured man in the gazebo at Civic Park.
Officers went there and located a man unconscious with a head injury, according to police.

Paramedics were called and the victim was taken to a hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
The suspect may be a clean-shaven man in his 40s, 5 feet 1 inch to 5 feet 3 inches tall with thin gray hair and missing teeth.
