Walnut Creek Restaurant Named Among Bay Area's Most Anticipated

WALNUT CREEK, CA — 5 Tacos & Beers was named among the most-anticipated restaurants coming soon to the Bay Area.

The restaurant was one of 13 highlighted recently in the San Jose Mercury News. The Mexican restaurant is expected to open in downtown Walnut Creek this summer, at 1352 Locust St. That's where Tender Greens used to be.

5 Tacos & Beers already has locations in Albany and El Cerrito.

The tacos will be made with grass-fed meats, organic produce, and handmade tortillas. The beers will be served out of a custom keg room. Expect 30 to 40 local craft beers.

Other East Bay eateries that made the list include Bar Quiote in Livermore, and Dela Cura and Sundo in Oakland.
