Families will be able to select instructional model that works best for them.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Walnut Creek School District's governing board on Monday unanimously approved a reopening plan for transitional kindergarten through eighth-grade classes, according to officials.
Reopening will take a phased approach by grade, beginning in mid-November for TK, followed by kindergarten on Nov. 30. First- through eighth-graders will return in January, said WCSD Superintendent Marie Morgan.
- See the Return to Learn 3.0 website for information and reopening details.
Parents will receive emails with "Commitment Letters" and information on requesting instructional models that work best for their families, Morgan said.
