Walnut Creek Teens Prepare "Pop-Up Shop" For Underserved Girls
The entrepreneurs have grown their "business" of giving away gently used clothing to girls in need throughout the county.

A year and a half after launching their clothing collection and giveaway business, "What's Mine Is Yours," Paige and Katie Easterly are preparing a special free shopping extravaganza in August for girls who would otherwise go without new clothes.Â
A special "pop-up store," or temporary store, will be set up at Seven Hills School on August 10. The "boutique" will feature much of the 4,600 pieces of clothing the girls have collected. Groups of ten girls from foster homes throughout the county will have a chance to select 15 items for free from the "store."Â
"Paige and Katie realize this 'shopping' experience is  not one typically enjoyed or afforded to these young girls in foster car and want to provide them with an experience many kids take for granted, especially as we gear up for back to school shopping," said What's Mine Is Yours Board Secretary Diane Blake.Â
To date, the girls have distributed over 1,700 pieces to group homes and agencies throughout the county. Â
