CONNECTICUT — Christmas is likely to look different this year as millions of Americans opt to stay home, marking the holiday with smaller celebrations amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Here are the hours for grocery stores that will be open, along with a list of those that won't:

ALDI: Stores will be open Christmas Eve, but hours will vary by location; closed on Christmas Day. There are 27 stores in Connecticut.

BJ’s Wholesale Club: Most stores will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve and closed Dec. 25. There are 12 locations in Connecticut.

Costco: Most stores will be open limited hours Christmas Eve, and all stores will be closed Christmas Day. Call ahead to confirm hours with your local store. There are nine locations in Connecticut.

CVS: Most locations are open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Christmas Day. There are 177 locations in Connecticut.

The Fresh Market: Stores will open at 7 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. Christmas Eve. All stores are closed Christmas Day. There are locations in 605 Post Road East in Westport, 1919 Boston Post Road in Guilford and 315West Main Street in Avon.
