CONNECTICUT — When the smoke cleared following the first full week of high school hockey games in Connecticut, the preseasons poll of coaches and media members took on an entirely different look, with Notre Dame-West Haven emerging as the unanimous top pick.

The Green Knights collected all 13 first-place votes to jump from its preseason No. 3 ranking. New Canaan also moved up two spots into second, while preseason No. 1 Fairfield Prep dropped to third. Two new entries cracked the top 10.

Here are the top 10, with last week's ranking in parentheses, as well as all other programs collecting votes.
