Connecticut Girls Basketball Preseason Top 10 Poll Released
Coaches and media members unanimously agreed on a top team in this year's preseason high school girls basketball poll.

CONNECTICUT — At long last, high school girls basketball competition resumes next Monday after nearly 11 months of inactivity brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. Things will be different from the norm, with only 12 regular season games scheduled per team and no state tournament action, but excitement is building toward the long-awaited return to the hardcourt.
A panel of coaches and media members has voted on the top teams in the state, and Notre Dame-Fairfield emerged as a unanimous top selection. The Lancers had also been the unanimous leader in the final poll of 2020, just before being shut down by CIAC officials prior to the quarterfinal round of the Class L tournament.
Here are the top 10, plus all other schools receiving votes.
