CT State Data Error Leads To Higher Positive Test Rate
The state broke a streak of increasing hospitalizations Tuesday after more than a week straight of increases.

CONNECTICUT — Connecticut’s coronavirus hospitalizations remained stable at 129 patients Tuesday, which broke a nine-day streak of increases.
The state’s positive test rate dropped to .7 percent Tuesday; Gov. Ned Lamont said a data entry error led to reporting 8,200 test results instead of 17,714. Of that there were 121 positive cases. Originally the positive test rate was reported as around 1.5 percent.
Four more coronavirus deaths were reported, which brought the state total up to 4,521.
