CT High School Golf Championships Decided In 4 Divisions Monday
Despite searing heat, some fantastic scores were posted by high school golfers from Connecticut at four sites Monday.

CONNECTICUT — Temperatures soared into the 90s by the time four CIAC high school golf championships had been concluded Monday, but several scores were hotter than the playing conditions.
The Division I boys championship was contested at Tallwood Country Club in Hebron, while Division II players teed it up at Timberlin Golf Course in Kensington. Boys in Division III tackled Stanley Golf Course in New Britain, while Division II girls played at Farmington Woods Golf Club in Avon.
Matthew Doyle of Daniel Hand took low scoring honors with a sizzling 5-under par 67 at Timberlin. Three other players broke par: Brett Chodos of Amity Regional had a 2-under par 70 at Tallwood, and Alex Elia of Wilton and Jonathan Bushka of Notre Dame-West Haven each shot 1-under par 71 at Timberlin.
