CT Lottery Applauds State Approval Of Wagering, Online Lottery
The state legislature recently approved a "modernization of Connecticut's gaming landscape."

The Connecticut Lottery Corporation (CLC) applauds Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut General Assembly on the state’s approval of sports wagering, online lottery, and online gaming in Connecticut.

"Today is a great day for the state of Connecticut,'' said Rob Simmelkjaer, Connecticut Lottery Corporation Chairman of the Board. "We are very pleased that the state legislature has approved this modernization of Connecticut's gaming landscape. I congratulate and thank Governor Lamont and his team for their leadership and vision to reach this historic agreement and see it pass the Connecticut General Assembly. I also thank the leadership in both the Connecticut House and Senate for this milestone achievement.”
The Connecticut Lottery Corporation is already engaged with prospective vendors and partners with the goal of launching our sports betting platform as quickly as possible. Formal responses to CLC's sports betting RFP will be due in the next two weeks. The RFP can be viewed here: CT Lottery Official Web Site - Public Solicitations. The CLC will also issue an RFP for an iLottery vendor in the coming days.
