CT Resident Competes In Latest Season Of 'Big Brother'
Christian Birkenberger is from Harwinton and attended Lewis S. Mills High School in Burlington.
CONNECTICUT — A Connecticut resident is competing in the latest season of the popular CBS show "Big Brother."
Christian Birkenberger, a 23-year-old general contractor assistant from Harwinton, will compete against 15 other houseguests in the 23rd season of the show, which debuts on Wednesday.
Birkenberger is a graduate of Lewis S. Mills High School in Burlington, and he described himself in a pre-show interview as "charming, friendly, and determined." In addition to contractor work, Birkenberger also has worked as a model.

"Big Brother" follows a group of 16 contestants move into a house together that is separated from the outside world. The house has nearly a hundred cameras and more than a hundred microphones that film their every move 24 hours a day.
He said that his strategy for winning the game is ultimately to be himself, but he added that he is not above trying to fool other contestants into thinking he's a pushover.

Each week, a houseguest is voted out of the dwelling, and the last remaining one will receive a grand prize of $500,000.
Big Brother's 23rd season kicks off at 8 p.m. on Wednesday on CBS, with a second episode airing on Sunday also at 8 p.m.
