CT Weather: Hour-By-Hour Snow, Ice Forecast Details For Sunday

A winter weather advisory has been issued for most of Connecticut Sunday. Here's how much snow and ice to expect.

CONNECTICUT — The good news is that Sunday's rain, snow and ice event doesn't look like a big deal. There just doesn't appear to be a lot of moisture with this storm system that will impact Connecticut.

However, there is enough snow and ice forecast that it could make roads slippery tonight and Monday morning in inland and northern sections of the state.

According to the National Weather Service, areas away from the immediate coast may see 2-3 inches of snow and ice accumulation Sunday afternoon and evening. However in looking at the hour-by-hour forecast below, temperatures largely stay just above freezing in Connecticut and the chance for precipitation never hits 100 percent either.
