CT Weather: Light Snow Thursday, Weekend Snow Storm Possible
The National Weather Service issues an update on some more snow on Thursday and possibly on Saturday night and Sunday.
CONNECTICUT — There is a chance for up to an inch of additional snow to accumulate Thursday morning but all-in-all it's not a big deal. But what could be a big deal is a weekend storm that may begin Saturday night and continue into Sunday.
Right now the weekend storm remains a 50/50 proposition, and it's possible it could be a mix in parts of the state too. No accumulation estimates have been released concerning the weekend snow and mix chance.
As for the light snow early Thursday, the National Weather Service "Although snowfall rates will be light, the powdery snow should stick based on the cold temps and overnight start. Less than an inch is expected..."

The weather service adds that there is a "slight chance of snow" Saturday night and a better chance for snow and possibly mixed precipitation on Sunday. And maybe another storm next Tuesday.
"Dry and cold (Monday), then potential exists for another coastal storm around the (Tuesday) timeframe," the weather service said.
