CT Weather: Snow Estimates Released For Super Bowl Sunday
The National Weather Service has released snow accumulation estimates for Super Bowl Sunday in Connecticut. Here's how much to expect.
CONNECTICUT — The snow storm that was once expected to go out to sea has now led to a winter storm watch being issued for parts of the state. It now appears that almost everyone in Connecticut will see accumulating snow on Super Bowl Sunday.
It does appear to be a fast-moving snowstorm with snow developing Sunday morning and ending during the evening hours. It will be interesting to see what school superintendents decide to do for Monday.
Areas closest to the storm, which are towns along the coast in southern Connecticut, and in eastern parts of the state are expected to receive the most snow as of now.

Here we snow again! A Winter Storm Watch has been issued for southern CT/shoreline. This happens when there is a chance for 6" of snow! Oh boy...making our snow map now. #fox61 pic.twitter.com/Gj8dtsJP5r

Expected snowfall on Sunday. Tough forecast with quite a bit of spread on our computer guidance. I'd plan on at least a couple inches across most of the state with the heaviest most likely south and east of Hartford. #nbcct pic.twitter.com/MG55CPa70F

Super snow Sunday. The storm looks like it will be tracking closer to us for a widespread plowable snowfall. Timing: 7 AM - 5 PM so it should be over by kickoff. The map shows how close we are to more snow if the storm tracks closer or less if it's farther offshore. #fox61 pic.twitter.com/qvZxqB0nzf
