CT Weather: Up To 8 Inches Of Snow On Super Bowl Sunday

The National Weather Service has issued warnings for parts of Connecticut as accumulating snow is expected across the state.

CONNECTICUT — Winter storm warnings and advisories have all been posted for Connecticut in advance of a snow storm scheduled to dump at least a few inches and possibly much more on the state on Super Bowl Sunday.

On Sunday morning, likely after 8 a.m., snow will move into the state and in the late morning and early afternoon hours we could see snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour.

This will be a fast-moving storm and most of the accumulating snow will end by the start of the Super Bowl around 6 p.m.
