CT Weather: Updated Snow Accumulation Estimates, Timeline
A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of Connecticut. Here is how much snow to expect before the storm ends Tuesday evening.
CONNECTICUT — Another day of snow in Connecticut and some more accumulation by Tuesday evening.
In an updated forecast, WTNH News 8 chief meteorologist Gil Simmons said snow develops this morning and will mix or change to ice/rain along Interstate 95 in the afternoon and will produce a minor accumulation of 1-3 inches.
However, once you move away from the immediate shoreline towns there could be 4-6 inches in interior sections of southern and northern Connecticut, and six plus inches in Litchfield County, Simmons said on his social media.
