A GoFundMe campaign has been launched to help support the family with expenses.

"Much is unknown at this point, but what we do know is that Barbi and Paisley will need support in the coming days and months," reads a post on the GoFundMe page. "On top of dealing with suddenly being a widow and single mother, Barbi is also facing the loss of her job at the end of this month."

The accident happened around 3 p.m. on South Main Street, near Cook Street, in Torrington and involved a pickup truck, according to Torrington police.

Police said Cybulski was operating a motorcycle heading south on South Main Street and passed a vehicle that was preparing to turn left. The pickup truck that had been traveling in the northbound lane turned left into Cook Street.

Cybulski struck the pickup truck on the passenger side of the door, according to police.

Cybulski, 40, was taken to Charlotte Hungerford Hospital where he later died from his injuries, police said. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, according to police.

The driver of the pickup truck wasn’t injured and is cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Anyone with information regarding the accident is asked to call Torrington Police Officer Oscar Segui at 860-489-2007.

The GoFundMe campaign has raised more than $36,000 within the first day (as of Thursday afternoon). For more information, or to make a donation, visit the GoFundMe page here.
