Preseason Boys Ice Hockey Poll Posted In Connecticut

CONNECTICUT — Familiar names are posted at the top of the preseason Connecticut high school boys ice hockey poll, yet the team atop the rankings received half the number of first-place votes as the runner-up.

Perennial powerhouse Fairfield Prep copped three top votes, yet emerged with the most total points to lead the initial balloting. Darien was second despite collecting six first-place votes, while Notre Dame-West Haven was named first on three ballots to wind up third.

Here are the top 10, plus all other programs receiving support.
