Storm Could Hit CT Ahead Of Thanksgiving, New Details Released
Warm weather will finish off the week before storms are forecasted to roll in which could impact travel plans for Thanksgiving.
CONNECTICUT ? It's going to be another interesting week of weather in Connecticut.
It will be 65 degrees on Friday, colder temperatures this weekend, some light rain Saturday morning and then more rain and wind develops in advance of Thanksgiving.
WFSB 3 TV Chief Meteorologist Mark Dixon with Scot Haney said there will be more clouds than sun on Friday, but temperatures may reach 65 degrees.

And on Saturday morning, "there will be scattered showers ... (associated with the front?s arrival and passage) we miss out on steady/heavier rain (from the low passing far enough to our east)," Dixon and Haney wrote. "Rain totals, where there is rain, will be light. In fact, we could see rapid clearing with increasing sunshine as the day progresses. Temperature-wise, tomorrow starts mild with temps in the 50s, then by the afternoon they drop into the 40s behind the front as cooler air moves in on a northwesterly breeze."
"The second half of the weekend is dry, with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Temps will be closer to normal Sunday, with highs in the upper 40s and lower 50s," the WFSB 3 TV metrologists wrote.

"The start of Thanksgiving week looks dry, bright, but chilly with lows in the 20s and highs in the 40s Monday. Tuesday, temps will be similar, but cloud cover increases as does the wind in advance of an approaching storm system. We?ve moved our First Alert up in time as rain now appears to begin Tuesday afternoon/evening, then end by Wednesday late morning --- good news as conditions improve for the busy travel day! For Thanksgiving, as of now, we?re calling for dry and bright weather with highs in the mid-40s," Dixon and Haney wrote. (Read/watch more at WFSB 3 TV here).
