These Are CT's Best School Districts For 2021: New Report
A ranking of Connecticut's best school districts has been released. See the top school districts here.
CONNECTICUT — Congratulations to the Westport School District which once again was determined by Niche.com to be the state's No. 1 school district for 2021.
Each Connecticut district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)

This is the second straight year that Westport has taken the top spot. Three years ago New Canaan was ranked No. 1 by Niche.com. (See last year's list as a comparison: Connecticut's Best School Districts: New Rankings Released)
Fairfield County as usual dominates the list with the top five spots all belonging to that county and seven of the overall top 10.
