WTNH-TV News Anchor Celebrates Birth Of Baby Boy
News 8's Stephanie Simoni gave birth on Thursday.
CONNECTICUT — It's a boy for WTNH-TV's Stephanie Simoni and her husband, WFSB-TV's Roger Susanin.
Simoni gave birth to a 7 pound, 11 ounce baby Thursday named Roger Wesley Susanin, the couple's second child. Mother and son are doing well, according to the couple.
"Genevieve can’t wait to meet her little brother because she has been promised he will bring her presents!" Susanin joked on his Facebook page.

Simoni, a Massachusetts native, has been with WTNH-TV since 2012, according to her bio, while Susanin, who grew up in the Philadelphia area, has been with WFSB-TV since 2015.
"Our hearts just grew a little bigger when Roger Wesley made his big debut this morning!" Simoni wrote. "He is 7 lbs. 11 Oz. We are both doing great. Genevieve can’t wait to meet her little brother even though she thought it was going to be a little sister!"
