
The Berlin Bears B1 team jumped out to a great start against the Tomahawks of Glastonbury.
Sam Capodice connected with Connor Guidice with a 60 yard touchdown pass to get the ball rolling. The point after attempt was good with a pass to Giancarlo Tufano to make the score 7-0.Â
The Tomahawks answered back with a 37 yard touchdown run and point after attempt to make the score 8-7 Tomahawks. On Berlin's next possession the ball was turned over in Berlin territory. The Tomahawks were able to score after the turnover making the score 16-7. Glastonbury then scored on their next possession on a 25 yard run. Point after attempt failed to make the score 22-7.

The Berlin Bears down but not out were able to come back with another Capodice to Giudice 76 yard touchdown pass. The point after attempt was good with a run from Alex Halkias to make the score 22-14. The tough Berlin defense held the Tomahawks scoreless in the second quarter.
The second half started with a defensive stand to stop the Tomahawks. And the team of Capodice and Giudice hooked up again for a 34 yard touchdown pass. Point after attempt failed making the score 22-20 Tomahawks.

The scoring would end there for Berlin. The Bears were troubled by turnovers losing the ball three times in the game. The final score was Tomahawks 43, Bears 20.
