Berlin Boy's Soccer Shuts Out Platt

Cano scores three goals for the Redcoats, now 7-4-2.

The Berlin boy's soccer team defeated Platt in Meriden, 5-0 to improve to 7-4-2 on the season.

Brajen Cano scored three goals to lead the Redcoats' scoring flurry. Steve Burns scored on a free kick and assisted on one of Cano's goals.

Reid Hilbie had the other goal for Berlin while Alex Bednarek added two assists.

Keeper Brian Bostrom had to make just one save to get the shutout for Berlin, who led 2-0 at halftime. Berlin outshot Platt 23-4.
