Berlin Business Plans Significant Expansion

A local manufacturer is expanding operations.

BERLIN, CT — A metal fabrication shop will expand its Four Road operations in a project costing $800,000 to $1 million, according to Hartford Business Journal. Complete Sheet Metal, which currently leases 3,600 square feet of space, will purchase a 2.4-acre property and construct a new 11,500 square-foot building.

The business currently has six full-time employees. Owner Jeff Michaud said he plans to buy new machines for custom metal folding and may expand product lines.

Michaud hopes to have the new facility constructed in the next 18 months, Hartford Business Journal reported.
