Berlin Girl's Golf Finishes Season 18-1
Just Pisk, conference and state tournaments left for two-time state champs.

Julia Kemmling shot an excellent round of 39, in damp and windy conditions, to lead the Berlin Lady Redcoats to a 172 to 219 victory over Hall Friday at Timberlin Golf Course.Â
The victory moves Berlin's record to 18 wins against 1 loss. Hall is now 9-7. Â
Kemmling received excellent support form Senior Co-Captains Emily Deutsch and Caroline D'Attilio who carded 43 and 44 respectively. The Lady Redcoat's scoring was rounded out by Ashley D'Attiolio with a score of 46. Â
Berlin is in action next against New Britain in the Stan Pisk Memorial Tournament Tuesday at Stanley Golf Course. Â
"Julia is really playing well and it couldn't come at a better time with our Conference Tournament and States just around the corner," Berlin coach Jim Barnes said. "All of the girls, Emily, Ashley, Caroline, Abbie Underwood and Emma Atkinson are hitting the ball well but we need to improve our team consistency. Too many mental mistakes and double bogeys for this time of the year. We need to get this corrected quickly if we want to repeat as Conference and State Champions."
