Berlin Kicks Off Palm Desert's Free Spring Concerts in the Park

The best part? It's free to attend!

BERLIN, CT - From City of Palm Desert: First Weekend Palm Desert celebrates the finale of another successful season with a live performance by Berlin that offers a high energy kick-off to the City’s free Spring Concerts in the Park.

Berlin will take the Civic Center Park Amphitheater stage at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 2,
playing their biggest hits including “No More Words,” “The Metro,” and “Take My Breath Away.”
The band, featuring lead singer Terri Nunn, is recording a brand new studio album with original
Berlin members and co-writers, John Crawford (bass) and David Diamond (keyboards) that is
scheduled for release later this year. The album marks the first collaboration by Nunn, Crawford
and Diamond since 1984. In addition to fantastic music from one of the 1980s most iconic bands,
concertgoers will have the opportunity to enjoy delectable fare from four food trucks.

The first concert is just one of five exciting musical acts that spring concertgoers will discover
from 7:30 to 9 p.m. every Thursday in May. Hosted by the City with additional sponsorship from
the Desert Recreation District, the Spring Concerts in the Park lineup is designed to please music
lovers of all ages and tastes including: the Might Untouchables (May 9); Yachty By Nature (May
16); The Fancies (May 23); and the Beatles Tribute band Britain’s Finest (May 30).
