Berlin Litter Commitee Will Meet Sept. 26

It is that time of the year again for the Berlin Litter Committee Fall Litter Clean-up Day.

This year, the clean-up day is scheduled for: Oct. 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with raindate of Oct. 21, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

"We will all meet at the usual sign-up area on the side parking lot of Ocean State Job Lot," said organizer Paul Chester. "Please tell all your friends and family to come. It is recommended to wear long sleeves and long pants. Bags and gloves will be provided."

There will be two meetings prior to that day to discuss any problem areas and concerns.

The first meeting will be Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center below the library.

The second meeting will be Thursday, Oct. 4 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center.
