Berlin to Open Softball Tournament With Home Game

BERLIN, CT — After winning four Class M championships in five years between 1986 and 1990, the Berlin High School softball team has come up empty-handed in the past 28 years, but hope to end that streak beginning Tuesday.

The 14th-seeded Redcoats will open the Class M tournament with a home game against No. 19 East Haven, as pairings were announced Friday morning.

Top seeds in the four divisions are Southington (LL), Masuk (L), Northwestern Regional (M) and Stafford (S).
