This national initiative sponsored by the DEA will provide an opportunity for the public to surrender pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction. Unused medicine that is flushed down the drain can result in contamination of groundwater and surface water.
Questions regarding Berlin’s program may contact Sergeant Thomas Hodolitz of the police department at 860-828-7080.
