Berlin Restaurant To Close After Three Decades In Business
A local restaurant will close its doors after this weekend.
BERLIN, CT — Berlin Pizza has announced that it will be closing down Saturday, Sept. 28. The Berlin Turnpike staple will close after 30 years in business.
"We would like to thank all of our amazing customers for their continued support and patronage throughout all these years," owners wrote in a Facebook post. "We are very thankful to have had so many great customers, we will miss everyone dearly! It was a pleasure serving our local community!"
The restaurant will be open this week Tuesday to Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Owners said that inventory will be low and once they run out, they will not be replenishing.

Berlin Pizza received favorable reviews on Yelp as well. The restaurant is also know for its specialty hot dogs, including "The Nightmare," which includes meat sauce, peppers, onions, mustard, relish and sauerkraut .
