Berlin's Hatchery Brook Community Garden Accepting Applications

Residents can plant gardens on the property, observing organic practices.

BERLIN, CT - The Hatchery Brook Community Garden in Berlin is accepting applications for its seasonal garden plots, according to organizers.

Located at 685 Orchard Road, the gardens are supervised by the Berlin Conservation Commission and were founded in 2008. Click here for more information about the garden's history.

According to The Berlin Citizen, the garden plots vary in price, depending on size, and can only be used for personal or nonprofit gardening.

To apply for a plot, pick up an application in Room 7 at Berlin Town Hall, 240 Kensington Road, or email the Garden Coordinator at berlingardens@comcast.net.
