Candidates To Be Announced, All-Stars, Kids Krusade and More Berlin Events This Week
Here's a brief look at some of the happenings in town between July 22-28.

Kids Krusade at Crossroads Church of God will be held Monday, July 22 to Friday July 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. . Bring your kids to this fun filled event for interactive Bible stories, games, music, snacks, and prizes! See the flyer at Crossroads Church Of God website.
The Berlin Little League 11s All-Stars play in the State Sectional championship round Tuesday in Milford at 7 p.m. After losing its first game to Fairfield American, Berlin is back in the championship round and will have to beat Fairfield twice to win the State Sectional. A win Tuesday would set up a winner-take all game Wednesday night at 7 p.m. back in Milford. To catch up on how the team has done up until now, check the Patch Sports Page.Â

Candidates will be announced on Monday by both parties. With Mayor Adam Salina already announcing he will not run for a sixth term there is some intrigue this year as to what the slate of candidates for both parties will be. Stay tuned to Berlin Patch for full stories on the slate of candidates from the Democrats and Republicans.Â
New Britain Symphony At Peck Library. The library will host the New Britain Symphony Orchestra for a "Tango Ensemble" Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The concert will take place on the library lawn and people are asked to bring their own seating. The event is open to the public and free of charge.Â

Learn more about the Civil War Monument. The re-dedication of the Civil War Monument will be this Saturday at noon on Percival Ave. If you want to learn more about the monument, join a panel discussion at Peck Library on Thursday at 7 p.m. No need to register, just drop-in.Â
