The Brewers ended the season at 18-3 while the Rangers ended 16-5 to win the American League for the second straight year. Going into the day, the Rangers were one game up on the Beautified Cabinet Yankees.  A Yankees win Sunday and Tuesday with a Rangers loss would have resulted in a one game playoff for the American Championship.  But the Ryan Lee Foundation Red Sox came to play Sunday, taking down the Yankees 3-2 and ending their chance for an American League title.
