Coronavirus New Britain: Mayor Announces First Positive Case
Mayor Erin Stewart said the person was treated and sent home to quarantine with family.

NEW BRITAIN, CT —Mayor Erin Stewart announced Sunday the city has its first confirmed case of coronavirus in a New Britain resident.
Stewart said the person was treated at UConn Medical Center and was released to quarantine in their home for two weeks.
"As much as we’d like to think there is a big bubble over NB, there isn’t. Stay home, stop the spread & think beyond yourself," Stewart tweeted.

They were treated at UConn medical center and released to quarantine in their home for 14 days with their family. Our public health department is in close contact with them and they are complying with all asks. I ask all of you to be vigilant, follow all guidelines.
